Also known by names like the Mythic War, War of Legends, War of the Gods, The War of Burning Things, The Blight War, and the Extintinction.

Even the Gods themselves were said to fight in heaven on multiple occasionsl.

Also this is the only Mythic War with residue still remaining, others (even as large) are highly likely.

Archeologists and Scholars beleive that this was more of a line of wars and sometimes use the phrase to say "All wars of Ancient Races".
One example of seperate conflicts within this chain, cicle, or bunch of wars is in numbers of glassed worlds, often carbon-blacked or with strange proteins covering the surface of the world.
Geology:
On these shadowed places a glassed surface often is hidden below the hardened and fused surface. The carbon is particullarily interesting because of the fact that at the surfaced burn temperatures needed for the glassing the carbons should have disintegrated. What this means is unknown, and these planets are devoid of major landmarks, buildings, or much of anything that seemed to survive the unmatched glassing let alone being covered by the carbons.

Theories abound about how this carbon-rich core material exists, but it matters not. With differences between the pure glassed and slag-covered of these worlds and the odd, decayed proteins (now sugar) rich surfaces there is a general consensus that all of these worlds came to be this way in an ancient conflict involving two races who likely destroyed each other.

No genetic material or artificts have ever been recovered from one of these worlds and this ancient conflict seems to have left few to no survivors. None are known.
Another oddity left from these wars is the spurring onward of numerous civilizations within a relatively short period. Most civilizations in this age were accelerated at some point by "Gods" who influenced their development.
However, that is just a myth and theory explaining why there are so many active civilizations in this age.

Some civilizations remember these olden days, some harken back to them, and perhaps there are more races alive and unseen. But these ancient kinds either do not recall or do not speak of such days.
